basically your fuel setup and whether or not its intercooled.
stage1: turbo and piping
stage2: fuel mods, (bigger injectors, fuel pump, fmu, fpr,) non-intercooled 5-6 psi
stage3: i would say is same as above but intercooled 6 and up psi
or go with the stage 10 and thats what DJ Ruiz has.

TURBO KIT...$4,000
RUNNING 20 PSI...ANOTHER $2,000
SMOKING THE TIRES ON A 3RD GEAR ROLL...PRICELESS

i wouldn't know centirfugial vortech supercharger here

j/k i know
the intercooler makes the air cooler and safer for your engine

the upgraded fuel mods will supply your engine better so you dont burn holes in pistons and stuff

Actually, the difference is what the manufacturer decides to put in the kit. Stage 1 is generally the base kit, stage X is that kit + certain upgrades. There are no set rules for what governs a stage 1,2,3,41 kit, just marketing.

i have a turbo kit an order this is what it incudes

Garrett T3 Turbo w/external wastegate,
Turbo Manifold,
Greddy Type S Blow Off Valve,
Piping with custom welds,
Vacuum Lines, Oil Feed Lines,
Oil Return Lines,
Manifold Gasket,
T3 Gasket,
Silicone Boots,
vortec fmu,
flange for custom dwn pipe,
front mount intercooler,
Clamps, and all necessary hardware for installation

my real question is will it mess with the ecu at all and screw it up or will i be fine? is there any thing else i am missing i plan on running between 6-8 psi to start off. later upgrade the injectors and fuel pump to boost more. welding the pipes and removing the boots and clams will come first though.

the FMU adds fuel based on boost levels. however i don't trust them, have seen bad things happen because of them and i always recommend a higher level of tuning. now a lot of honda people can use a free system like Uberdata and have a base map burned, have their ECU socketed and chipped with that map. but of course, our ECU's are non-chippable, so about the cheapest level of real tuning you can do other than an SAFC, which I don't necessarily go with either, is say a Greddy E-manage, a good good piggyback.

You should look into injectors and
a fuel pump. Stock probably won't cut
it.
