My car is at RSM as I write this, I'm going to pick it up on thursday with the nice addition of 6 psi intercooled turbocharged 2.2l. I'll let you all know how it goes.
I live in Toronto and I was wondering if anyone on here has a boosted cavalier or sunfire, I would like to meet up and check it out. post if your interested.

no I'm talking turbo......... I went to Nelson, the production manager at RSM with my turbo project, they are using the RSM supercharger computer program with my turbo set up and I'm spending the money to have the softwear modified to vwork with my turbo set up, I didn't need timing mods an FMU or anything like that.... the softwear does it all....... First of it's kind in the area.......... all computer tuning.... no boost controller either, even the computer does that too......... thats why I'm on here posting...... RSM supercharger is nothing special but the again I'm doing an RSM turbo set up................... so again ....... anyone in the area that would like to meet up to see what RSM can do in the turbo department is more then welcome I also want to see other set ups........................

Lee's a good guy and we are helping him out.
Craig - can you explain why he doesn't need a boost controller or any timing/fuel mods? Can you guys really reprogram/tune the J's OBDII computer like that? I thought you only had the one specific reflash...

The reflashes are nice for superchargers because the boost is more consistant and precise, with a turbo theres boost spikes and its not as predictable

I know that superchargers have a more linear boost pattern..... however that is why I've put my faith in RSM, they are the best in my opinion for this sort of thing. Way more precise then safc-2 would have been. RSM know what they are doing........ you'll see....... Wait till I get my car back at the end of the week!

I dont know if their reflash is better than a SAFC....but let us know how it goes.Im near toronto too with a built motor and 15psi ,soon to be 20.

RSM does some great work that's for sure.
My car has been there a lot this year for various upgrades.
Craig Lewis is a stand up guy and really takes care of the consumer.
hey ya I saw your car there before in the past when I was checking out the shop and what not.......... YOu turboed......?? come out to a meet if we can get one set up ......

Did you get a turbo kit or peice together a system. I'm looking at possibly doing this to my g/fs car.

I parted it together.... I went WAY WAY WAY over board though.... I got everything brand new in box and I got all of the best brand names in the business....... front mount intercooler, blah blah blah.......
Some one on here just did a full kit non-intercooled on a 2200 for $1100.00 now I don't know if thats canadian or American dollars.... however still a sweet deal....... I wouldn't trust only spending 1100 on a turbo kit that you actually want to run properly and very reliably...... he is only running 3.6 PSI........... I'll be running 6 PSI with a front mount cooler......... whats safer and going to be able to be a daily driver......... you decide....... mind you if you were to say 10 hp/ psi added to a stock motor... he only got 36 hp.... not huge gains...... but I'm sure he/ she is very happy with Boost....... BOOST IS SOOOOOOOOOOO SWEET !!!!!!!! PSSSHHHHHH

3.6psi non intercooled is just as safe as 6psi intercooled... Now quit playin around and turn up the boost lol... *eyes up that DAMN EGR PORT once again*
