what did you have to do to convert from the IDI to the 2 coil pack ignition? I have the write up saved that Misnblu did....just wondering if you used that or something else.

basically stock it goes from the ICM to the coil packs to the plug boots, when you go to msd from the icm it goes to msd out to adapter blocks, to coils , to plug wires

right...i get that but i'm just wondering what he used to convert to the coil packs from the IDI, a custom wiring job maybe? or something else. i know its not just throw in the coils, plug em in and go.

the wires from the ignition module go to the msd and the msd hooks up to the interface modules, and the coils are bolted to the,... its not much different than hooking a msd to the idi cover it just goes to the coils instead
