well i finaly got the car running after a few issues getting it to run, but thats another story..
anyway how are other peoples boosted auto's holding up? i have the b&m shift plus and the auto just doesn't shift fast enough, i have hit the rev limiter with it a couple of times, and i can feel it slipping sometimes, was wonderig if other people are having these issues or if maby the Auto trans interceptor would work any better?
I have also got the 0748 pressure control solenoid code on my car
also another friend of mine just got his turbo 2200 running and is having the same problem
Thanks
Derek
hmm, mine was always fine. it would slip a touch if i didnt have the shift kit (b&m shiftplus) on when under full boost. with the shift kit on, though, i had no problems at all.

hmm thats weird, i dunno why mine would be doing this... cause its realy not cool when the trany doesn't shift fast enough and i bounce off the rev limiter
hmm so far i have been fine. I have a B&M shiftplus and if its off, i dont really notice any slipping. I will hit the rev limiter in first gear if i go WOT at a certain RPM. But thats it. How many miles you got on the trans and how was it before boost?

theres under 50000km on the trans Jay, and it was good before boost. its weird how both guys locally who have turboed the 4spd are having the same prob.
I have had the Interceptor on mine for about 4 years now, never had any problems. My car does hit the rev limiter in first but i'm not really concerned with it. With the kind of power my car makes if that is my only issue i can't complain.

what did you mean by hit the rev limiter a few times? Like only in first gear? As in 1 or 2 times? Also how bad is the slipping? Is it to the point where you can hear it slipping away and watch the RPMS shoot through the roof? Or is it really slight, something that you just might be a little over worried about? Also how much PSI are you running?

i think it was just in first gear the rev limiter, i have to let off a bit to make sure it shifts, and the sliping is fairly noticable between 2-3-4, i probably just am over worried but i don't wana cook my trany either...
im running about 8lbs right now
Sorry a lil offtopic but..
--Glowin Cavy-- man you're car has always been my all time favorite.. i've seen pics before but never knew who's it was, so awesome! can't wait to see the new version.
well it seems that autos that are boosted have a tendency to hit the rev limiter in first on occasion. But the slipping, im not sure really, were you boosted before you had the b&m shiftplus installed and if so for how long?

Mine only hits the rev limiter when the wheels are spinning, which unavoidable in 1st gear.

I'm the other one who is having problems with my tranny. last year I threw a 75 shot to it and didn't slip or anything. Had no problems what so ever. Now it's slipping. ??
i also bounce off the rev limiter in first gear from my tires spiinning. I guess it is unavoidable until I put some drag radials on. I also slip like crazy when I have my interceptor turned off. But once I turn it on it is good for a little while then starts to shift all funky so iunno if my tranny is on its way out or what. But when it is running good my car pulls nicely

thats the thing...the tires arent spinning. They should be, there's lots of power there.
I have no problems with or with out my autotrans interceptor.

thats your problem right there. are the shifts still firm ? mine used to slip and do that when it was hot n/a before i installed the cooler & shift plus i have never had that code before but that part controlls pressure and that pressure is what holds the clutch packs together. if pressure is low then slippage will be high.

ya its weird, sometimes with the b&M on it shifts nice and firm and doesn' slip and other times it slips pretty bad, and that code comes on sometimes but not others. So im getting an autotrans interceptor, im sick of pissing around with the b&m
