Monday, June 13, 2005 8:49 PM
Hey Guys, Im pratically BEGGING for anyone with knowledge of setting an SAFC II to gimme a hand and get my car back to an acceptable Idle. My car is runnin PIG RICH. PLEASE if you have any experience with this tuning tool, and could lend me a hand getting my car back to even just a decent limp mode, Id be very grateful. I Called my dyno tuner, and he said he's booked up until next week, and I really need to get this car road worthy. She's still virtually stock, and hasnt even had the turbo thrown on, but I cant have her off the road just yet. Please, any settings or assistance you could provide would be really appreciated. Hit me up on MSN or drop me a pm, or post in here with comments or help

Make sure your sensor settings are 5 in 5 out, the TPS is calibrated correctly, and you have the right map sensor selected (pressure sensor). For a stock car, to run like stock, the settings should be 0's across the board.

Sensor is set at Pressure, Settings are at 5 in 5 out, 4 cyl engine selected with arrow pointing to top right, settings are 0 across the board. HOWEVER the resistor is goin in tomorrow, but the reason why Im undecided as to whether this is actually the cause of these troubles, is because Im not gettin any SES lights or anything short of my Trac Off Light.

It should be noted that I am runnin the L61 Ecotec block (as im sure many of you already assumed)

Also, if you can answer my question at the end of this thread in regards to the resistor wiring, Id appreciate it.

How do you know you are running super rich?

What are the symptoms you have going on, just a bad idle or bogging?

Thats weird.....I've had mine in for quite some time w/stock injectors and not had a problem. Make sure you double check your settings and wires.....sometimes the smallest things cause the biggest problems.
