I wonder if this is the engine out of that stolen Sunfire years back. I can't remember if it was the Sunfire or the Cavalier that was recovered. I wonder if it puts out any more boost than a regular GM S/C.

that is weird.

That sunfire that got stolen a while back was a 5spd.

The Sunfire was recovered right away. If they ever got the Cavalier back, no word of it ever reached here.

Mmmm maybe its the M62 SC Kit off the Tecnic? Remember the company who is selling that stuff is also the company who had all the Tecnic stuff on e bay not to long ago . . . . and GM had two tecnic cars... auto and 5 speed.........

yeah the cav is what wasnt recovered , and it had the eco with a s/c on it

from the looks of the s/c case its a M45 charger , the black piece is the part that tranfers air to the intake

I wonder where to get one of those manifolds? Bet it would be easier to intercool it than the actual GM s/c....

Hmmm......

Schram's gets all of the prototype cars that GM decides to junk (it also happens to be ~8 miles from my house). I just bought a new engine to replace my blown one, and wish i would have seen this about two weeks ago, it woulda been pretty sweet to have that motor in my car. Oh well, timing is everything.

That is the motor from the Tecnic.

Interesting...
The top brace looks like the one used on the GMPP's catalog.
I see some extra pieces there. What gives?

its 1 of the prototypes thats why it looks completely different

That would probably be alot easier to intercool, too bad you would have to fab up all new bracing.
