Hey whats up?
For those with a s-afc,i gotta question for you.Whats the voltage of your sensors on the sensor check screen?My tps sensor reads 0.330 volts at idle.The map reads about 0.900-1.000 volts at idle.The map voltage i think is normal,but the tps seems alittle low right?I heard the voltage should be around 0.500 volts at idle.I messed with the idle screw so the voltage would read around 0.500,but the car started idling pretty bad.I dont have the stock throttle body,i have a 62mm.Would that have anything to do with it?Btw,i have a 2.4l.Thanks.

i think the TPS sensor should be reading close to 1.000 volts at idle also. When you adjusted the idle screw and the car started idling bad... what do you mean by bad?

No,1.000 volts is def too high.By bad,i meant it was idling too high.And when i did get it to idle good,it would bog out when i blipped the throttle.I was trying to get the highest voltage with out having the car idle too high.Im gonna play with it more later and see what happens.Ever since i started messing with the idle screw,the car would die on me out of the blue.It would die when im at a light,or if i blip the throttle real quick.I think i have to raise the idle just a hair.Right now it idles at 900 and would dip into the mid to high 800's.

Ok cool,thanks alot Ron.I cant get my tps to read that high.When i turn the idle screw to get that voltage,the idle gets too high(1000 rpm).What kind of side affects do you think this is causing?I think it may be reading WOT too late.Sound about right?Is there a way i can fix this?I may get a stock throttle body and see if the car runs better.Thanks again.

Actually i did that with my old tp sensor.This is a new tp sensor.Im trying to get it to read within specs without making the holes wider.The old sensor i had reading .550 at idle.Maybe ill put the old on back in.Now i gotta mess with the idle screw again.Do you think the t.b wasnt bored out properly and thats why its out of specs?Man,ive had nothing but bad luck with this car.
