hey guys, rite now i get the sound of a sorta flutter, like ps ps ps ps when i let off the gas, would increasing the tension of the springs with washers change this sound, or is that intentionaly just for idle ?? to make sure the valve is shut, anyways i pulled the vac line off the wastegate and saw 8psi and let it off and it still fluttered but damnnn loud haha...anyone know wat it would be?...mayb a boost leak could factor it aswell. i think i have a small one

You have some dirt in it, as much as I know and I had mine about a year they are NOT adjustble, I mean you can try to twist the top but it will not change the sound.

They are adjustable

You have to twist the top off (its spring loaded), and you can insert washers on the top to adjust it.

but what if you add to many washers and its so tight it wont let boost off?....proly would anyways cause of vacuum wouldnt it?...i duno

i had mine with all 5 or 6 washers in it when i was running 8 psi and it blew off real good.

I got mine new and got these damn washers with it that I never knew what the hell they are for, so I just left them in the wastegate box for whatever.
Now I just got them and I am going to try this.

i wonder why i stil get a fluttering sound, proly cause i have a leak where its seeping aswell

[font=arialOn my car the fluttering sound was compressor surge cuz the shim in there was too much for it to blow off at very low boost (less than 1 psi).... had to loosen it up.

I have the Turbo XS Type 1, I believe.
