GM Charger 99 Motor & 02 Motor

Couldn't decide if this should be in boost or performance .

I have read, read, and read about this, and i am still a little confused.

I have a 99 auto Z24 (115,000 miles), that I would like to swap a 02 LD9 in (18,000 miles) (CHEAP).
I want to buy a GM Charger (p/n 12498660).

I have read that the knock sensor is the same for 99 to 02. I also read that the first 02 sensor is different. (99 1 wire, 00 on 2 wire). Are they the same thread? I also read that they have different injector impedance? Can I use the 99 injectors and sensors on the 02 motor. (I believe I can.)

I been told that if I add the GM charger I will need, new injectors, FMU of some-kind, FPR of some brand, bigger fuel pump, 00+ starter, new map sensor (Cartech).
Can I use the map from the Charger Kit? Correct me if I am wrong, I believe I can not get the re-flash.

Is there anything I am forgetting or overlooking for this build.

All comments welcomed.

Yep. All O2 sensors are a standard thread.

Yep. The entire fuel system from your 99 can be used on your 00 motor.

Right again. However, you could also purchase a Greddy e-manage or other fuel/engine management system in place of the FMU. Computer control will give you many more options than an FMU ever will. Plus with an E-manage, you can wire up the MAP sensor that comes with the supercharger to the boost port on the unit.

Also, if your ecu uses high impdence injectors (I believe the 99s do), you should have no problem using the GM s/c injectors that came with the kit.

Correct again. You cannot use the reflash on your ecu.
