What gauges do you guys add? I plan to get the eco supercharger from GM and was looking into a gauge setup. A boost gauge is a must, but what other gauges are typically used. I am planning right now on a two gauge pod, so it looks like I only can go with one more gauge. Right now I'm thinking either oil temp or egt gauge.

autometer sport compact gauges and the lotek triple pillar.

definitely go with wide band o2 or egt if you plan on adding any performance mods other than the s/c

well it really depends on how far you want to take your mods after the supercharger. I have a boost gauge and A/F ratio gauge. That is prolly all i will need because i dont plan on adding much more boost to it. I also dont need to tune my car because of the reflash, so i think a wideband is kinda an overkill. If your gonna stick modest with your mods, and af gauge should be fine, if you plan on going pretty extreme with your mods, and wideband is a must. You also dont really need a boost gauge, thats more for looks. You will already know how much PSI you will be pushing with the stock pulley, so unless your planning on upping the boost, a boost gauge really isnt needed, its more for looks.

I have a boost gauge and a plx wideband. An air/fuel gauge is useless. All it does is put on a light show at night.I think a boost gauge is a must. You might know how much boost the stock pulley is supposed to make, but you wanna make sure you are actually making that much boost.

I went with the Lotek 3 pod pillar and got Boost (30 vac 20psi), Oil pressure and Knock
my oil pressure and boost gauge were from Stewart Warner, and i highly recommend these gauges over Auto meter..

af ratio gauge is useless to tunning. You cant tune on an AF ratio gauge, but it does work well to monitor your car under WOT. Just to make sure your not running lean.

Well if you did go with an EGT, how do we know what temp is bad for our cars? Wouldn't you need to find a gauge that shows the correct temps to be effective? Also, where did you guys put the boost/vac probe? I would assume on a vaccuum line, is this correct?

probe? there isnt a probe, you just connect a tube going from the gauge into a vacumm line.
