well iv been boosted since sunday and threw a cel a few hours after.. i know its because we took the cat off... ran EXCELLENT though.. got the fuel pressure tuned. no misses or knocking.
well i was giving a friend a ride in it today and on our way back into town, it started flashing.. i took it easy and it went back to the solid cel.. im going later to a shop to get the code checked. any idea??
i always thought that a blinking light ment detonation, but it runs like a champ and doenst knock or anything.
the ONLY thing i can think of is when i put more fuel in my car, i went to cheveron and got 91. usually i go to tessoro and get 91. so maybe it was just @!#$ty fuel??
i have the stock ones in right now... i have NGK TR6's that im gonna put it tonight.
im using stock ones STILL. run the best for daily use out of NGK, stock, Denso. i just have them gapped down to .030.
now that i think about it ive been running better times with the tightly gapped stocks instead of my NGKs....hmmmm.....

well damn. i gapped my stock ones to .035. you have yours at 0.30 EXACTLY? how long u been running on that?
the car ran perfect since monday. i filled up with shell "Vpower" which is either 91 or 91. the ONLY thing different is i filled up at chevron today. its 91. and a few of my friends told me they use @!#$ty grade fuel, which i didnt know at the time. so im going down to tessoro to put a couple gallons of 110 octane in and hopeuflly balance it out.
would the @!#$ty fuel cause a multiple cylinder misfire? since the plugs have been fine for a few days?

do you run 87 octane or a higher one?

well i went and put a couple gallons of race fuel in. 110 octane. let it settle. went out of town and hit boost. pulls harder again, and sooo much smoother. cel is still on cuz of not having a cat, but it didnt blink, and it wasing missing.
