Hey guys today I stuck a fuel gauge out of the hood while I was driving and got to 9 psi and the fuel gauge went from 50-60 to 85 and then back to 75 psi.
So I guess the pump only goes to 85 and then the positive pressure in the combustion chamber brings it back another 9.
So I got a Blazer pump and 370cc injectors, and I was wondering why I cannot run more than 8-9 psi on them and it is because of the pump.
So now I have a FMU with a 7:1 in it and at 9 psi the fuel pressure is suppose to be at 114 psi and it is not lol, but the car is runnig good A/F of 11.8:1 on a dyno.
So right now I am running a little over a 2:1 so I was wondering if the Walboro 255 would go up to about 100 psi or so cause with m calculations at about 100 psi on these injectors I would be able to run about 11 psi.
This is for a Ecotec 2002 what part number for the pump??
What would also be for a 1998??
and please tell me someone already knew this, sucks!!!! lol

Damn do I get some awesome replies!!
DJ, screw you I was wondering how is your ass supplying enough for 15 psi, but I guess it is possible with a good fuel pump and big enough injectors. lol
Phil, thanks buddy, BTW what is a search button, I mean I only been here for a few months??
