ive recently put a cav conn turbo kit on my car its a 2200 3 spd auto my other mods are p/p head ,walbro pump,250cc inj, 2 1/2 exhaust. now my problem im running 6 psi no intercooler the car still seems a little weak off the line but goes shifts out of 1rst ok but when it reaches 4800 -5000 rpms before shifting into 3rd the car looses power but the rpms stay the same them it will shift after i let off and hit it agian but it feels weak? so im not sure if it is the trans taking a @!#$ or if its the ecm retarding the engine ? im lost ? with only 6 psi i should be good with the 250cc inj . and there is no eng or trans light on . any help is welcome . thanks .

your tranny doesn't like that. my best advice while you have a turbo car, is get an intercooler. you lose a slight amount of boost through the intercooler, however you gain that power back by an increase in density and a colder charge temperature.

maybe your right but do you think i should put some bigger inj in i have some rc 310cc inj ? i was saving them for when i put the safc in and turned the boost up . but with the problems ive been waiting .i guess ill put the intercooler in next and see what happens. what do you think is the swap to a 4 spd auto easy ? worth it / what will i need besides the trans ? will i need the ecm, and the whole engine harness? will i need the shifter linkage? im just thinking if this trans goes if ill put in the 4spd instead of the 3spd back in .

i am trying to peace together an intercooler for my 2200 4 speed with the rsm supercharger
it hates the shifts and has less power than stock until the boost gets to like 3psi then it picks up again but the charger is giving me 10 psi
what are you going to do for an intercooler can you post pics of how you did it if you do it before i get it done
