So ... a friend of mine told me she saw a post of someone selling a turbo kit for a 2200 yesterday for 1500$, all turbonetics goodies t3/t4 hybrid, madifold, downpipe, greddy BOV, and a vortec FMU .... so .. I decided to give the guy a call today and juss pick his brain ... so it turns out he's getting divorced ... and needs money pretty badly ..... so .... I bought it for 850$ .. AND he's delivering it
SWEET.
The something occured to me ... as much as I think I know about forced induction ... I know sh!t all..
I'm only planning on running like 6-8 lbs of boost because I don't want to build my motor or do anything crazy ... so I think I'm safe to do this ... am I right ?
with that minimal boost ... do I need to run premium fuel (did I mention I was cheap
how in the heck do I hook up the fmu ... where do I tap into what ??
and where is this fitting in the block where I can run my oil feed line ??
I'm so pumped for life right now . but kinda freaked out at the same time.. what the heck have I done
any advice would be great .... and if theres anything I should watch out for that I haven't thought of let me know

Want mint car parts cheap ?? www.vitalmotorsports.ca
6-9 shouldn't be a problem as long as you RUN PREMIUM FUEL and play around with the FMU while hooked up to a wideband O2 sensor.
I'm not sure what the 2200 guys do for oil, but I'm guessing you'll have to t off the oil pressure sending unit.
The FMU will be run inline with your stock FPR. You have to cut your fuel return line and clamp the FMU in 'series' with the factory FPR and the fuel tank.
If this all seems to tough, I'll buy the kit off of you for $900
