hey guys im currently running 9psi with the walbro, safc2, 42lb green tops and stock fpr. When in boost the wideband reads 11.4-11.7 and when at idle it reads14.0-15.3 and it dosent stall when its cold but only when its hot. I can be driving and push in the clutch and it wont stall its only when i come to a complete stop and for the life of me i cant figure out why. Im also running ngk tr5's gapped at 30ish and the settings on the safc are pressure and 5 in and 5 out. it also did this before i was boosted and before i had installed the 42lb injectors and it dosent matter if i have a full tank or empty tank. so someone please help before i go insane thanks.

If you installed the injectors recently and went through and changed rpm fuel(+/-) settings, you might have forgotten to change your idle or changed it inadvertantly? Not to sure, I know the SAFC can be a pain in the a$$ sometimes when it comes to changing settings. Good luck.

you definitely need an aftermarket adjustable fpr. try aeromotive.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

but why would i need a fpr when i pull 14s on the wideband running rich dosent seem to be my problem and it idles smooth when it does idle could it be my iac? but you would think that i would get a cel if that was the problem.

and like i said before it did this before i installed the injectors and before i even had the turbo on all i had was the safc2 with all the adjustment settings set at zero and the walbro.

Do you have any way to monitor the MAP sensor voltage that's being sent out of the safc into the stock ECU? I know that with the safc and emanage sometimes have issues with map voltages in and out depending on the setup. If your safc is sending a voltage that is to low (probably around 0.2v or maybe even a little less) then the ecu will pull out too much fuel and almost stall you out.

I had the same problem for a while with my emanage. Check out the resistor mod post if you already haven't that may be the answer you're looking for.

IAT sensor is my guess. I had the same problem in my NA 99. I'd come to a stop and it'd want to stall out.

the IAT is new but last night i swapped out the IAC for another used one i had off my spare 2.4 and it dosent stall any more just idle's really funky like when u first start it up and rev it it will drop really slow and stick at about 1500 then drop the rest of the way and it does that untill it gets warmed up, the idle still sticks at 1500 but drops faster and it will bounce back and forth from like 700-1100 and sometimes it will straighten out and sometimes it wont. As for the resistor trick i do rember reading about it but i thought it was only for those who had a check engine light for low map voltage . maybe when i go back to work i will gank the volt/ohm meter and check my map when i get home what are the voltages susposed to be at idle and wot?
