I know about all the bad things that have happened with SSAutochrome on ebay with their turbos, wastegates and everything else. but my question is about their intercoolers. i found this one here...URL=http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33632&item=7974605536&rd=1]Intercooler[/URL]...on ebay from ssautochrome. its a bar and plate intercooler which is pretty much the same size as the johnnyracecar.com 6" tube and fin intercoolers and if i were to "buy it now" it would be $197 shipped. i was originally going to get the 6" from JRC, but now i see this and wonder if its decent quality or not. what does everybody think??

many people on the forum have johnnyrace car. i have one too. its an amazing intercooler. even the damn box it was shipped in, it was wrapped so it was indestructable lol. but for the price they are pretty much the same and it will prolly be much better then the Ebay one. plus if they have 2 outa 3 that are crap then that must be too...but do wat you want, good luck

I realize that the johnnyracecar interooler is very good quality. I was originally going to get one when I decided to radomly search ebay for one. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with the ssautochrome intercoolers since its the more efficient bar and plate type.

The intercooler is a good price but it is not the best design. i would go with the spearco intercooler. this design is a bar and plate design that is the best kind. also the flow of the JRC intercooler is not the best. Its angles are flawed. Im not going to say don't buy it because i am thinking about it but if you want the best kind i would go with a bar and plate. For that kind of price its good.
