Where to buy turbo?
Wednesday, May 11, 2005 6:04 PM
So the corner of my living room is filled with boxes of turbo parts but I still have no turbo.
I tried to order from turbocalculator.com but they decided to stop working, answering there phone, and answering e-mails. So I ordered from conceptillusions.com (dsm guys have good things to say about them) well that order got cancled because they were out of stock. I just want a T3 super 60 .48 A/R... is that too much to ask. Anyone know another reputable place with a decent price rebuild or new. I dont trust ebay unless you can give the sames of some reputable ebay dealers. Thanks.

Cheapturbo.com...I got my t3/t4 from there. Call them and ask for Ken, he will answer all your questions and help to get what you need. Awesome service and support, plus they ship quick. I received mine within 4 days(after they installed al my upgrades of course)

I looked through that site but the prices seemed pretty steep. They wanted 625 for the t3 s60 but only 620 for the T3/TO4E 50TRIM W/.48 A/R so I might go with the t3to4e, unless something else comes up.

Both have a one year no hassle warranty!

You can buy turbochargers from auto parts stores for a replacement. For example, we bought a Garrett T3 54 trim with a .48 a/r exhaust, for a Saab for $225.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

Try Blaastperformance.com. If you plan on buying a whole bunch of stuff, they will cut you a nice little package deal and the staff is very good to work with. Even if you just want a turbo, they have some good deals.

im wanting a great good cheap turbo for a daily driver. all i reallt want is around 200-250 hp. of course i understand that on a 99 cavy 2200 it could be a little unrealistic. but its what im shooting for.

200-250 isnt unrealistic when talking about boost. with good mods and engine management and fuel upgrades, then u can easily achieve it. thats what im shooting for with my 01 2200. i want at least 200 wheel hp

Which auto parts store, and year/model for the Saab?

Try Ebay. I saw some good deals on new turbos from a store on there but you have to run an exterenal wastegate because they are not set up for an internal wastegate.
