does anyone have pictures of the charge pipes running under their car on a 2.4? ive got a 97 5 spd z24 and in a couple weeks getting my charge pipes done, waiting for my intercooler to arrive now and i was planning on going under the car but it looks kinda tight, so if someone has some pics it would make things a whole lot easier, thanks

Passenger side, between the engine and the motor mount, coming through under the ECU, curving around into the intercooler, out the intercooler on the other side, up through the bong hole, and over to the throttle body.
Mine is a little more difficult because I have the freaking huge auto tranny.

hmm, you have ac in your car? i was thinking pass side but didnt want it snagging on the pulley, although ill have to take a closer look on the pass side and see if i can route it in there any better.
you have msn bud? leave me your info and ill add you

Yeah I do, it goes under the pulley, really doesn't even come close to it. It goes down by the A/C cannister, takes a 90 towards the motor mount, continues up under the A/C compressor, takes a 90 and turns towards the fender and goes under the ECU, takes a 90 towards the front of the car for about 4 inches, and then a 90 into the intercooler.
You have to trim down the motor mount bolt so its even with the nut, then it will fit between the motor and the mount.

ok cool thanks for the tip, ill cut that down this week and egt it all ready to go in.
i took some quick measurements, i think i can ift the intercooler behind the bumper support if i can find a way to mount it, jt need to see if i can remove those 2 bars that come down on a 45 degree angle. but it should fit, 30x8x2.5
if not ill cut, i dont care, lol

I looked at brandons pics .... his charge pipe off the turbo sure comes close to the axle ..... clearance issues ? And also it sure is close to the downpipe as well ... possible heat soak ... or did I see some wrapping/shielding on there ..... it sure does fit well beside that coolant pipe ..... great set up

with some header wrap or somethign similar you hsould be fine to keep excess heat away form the pipes. id imagne the pipes being under the car would stay cooler because of a constant air flow while moving over being jammed in the engine compartment
