how acurate are these wideband kits? cuz i kno those air fuel ratio gauges just bounce around and i dont wanna spend $399.00 on somethin that isnt as acurate as said. i have an EGT/pyromete gauge is that better or good enough? im also getting my car professionally tuned with the air fuel reader on the dyno then some street runs then some more tuning on the dyno. so would i need a wideband? heres the link

i like the Innovative LM-1 better than the standalone gauge kits personally. but yes they are accurate and work quite well. they offer a very nice level of tuning that you will definitely enjoy working with and the benefits are... well... a good tune. lol
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
I have one of those installed and I love it.
Accurate, easy to read and easy to use.
Cool options such as narrowband output and a 0-5v output to go to an engine management system.
Fully programmable with a laptop.
I give it an A++

i have a question thats not posted on karo's site. the standalone widebands. how big is the gauge. my gauges i have are autometer 2 1/16 is this wideband gauge the same size or larger? im going to purchase one but i want to get a single pod or mounting unit to mount this gauge. thanx

I believe they are 52mm or 2 1/16
ok another question on these widebands. i kno air/fuel gauges kinda just bounce around. i have the EGT gauge because i heard is better then the air/fuel. now will this Wideband give me unacurate readings like the air/fuel gauges where it bounces around and what not. im about to purchase one off karo but i just want to make sure it will be acurate because ive heard a lot about the air/ fuel gauges.

You need to realise there's a difference between a narrow band and wide band gauge. Narrow band gauges are the ones that bounce around. A wideband is a true tuning tool. Hence why they cost $300+ and not like $70 ricer gauges.
yea i was thinkin it would have to be decent since the price was high. but your right its for tuning so it has to be accurate. thanx alot

AEM, Innovate Motorsport and others sells 52mm wideband A/F gauges that can be used as a guage without the bouncing effect and works really as a tuning tool. Also PLX devices sells a box that convert the Wideband 0-5v output to a 0-1v output used by standard narrowband A/F gauges.
