I met up with my cousin two weeks ago, l have not seen him since we were 7years old he and my aunt moved to Atlanta were my aunt got a job at a University in Atlanta.
I found out the he is a dyno tech. and can get REALLY good prices on ...well next to everything.
He was thinking about helping me put together a supercharger kit. I figure since most of you guys in this forum more than likely know better then me. I'm putting it out there for yous to decide...
What should all be included to run a easy maintainable supercharger...?
The charger will be one like the one that comes in the Cobalt or a Centrifugal ( spelling )
style....
Looking for a list of what to get more or less..
Just looking for a bit of boost..would rather not get into internals...
Thanks in Advanced

I really think you have that backwards, roots type (gm supercharger) have much less potential than a centrifugal (rsm style) supercharger.
I would buy the kit, since the amount of work to get the pulley system right on a generic bought vortech supercharger would be far too much trouble than its worth, so why reinvent the wheel?

yea superchargers aren't like turbo kits where you can build your own basically... I would buy a kit if you wanted to go with a supercharger
