Ok here is the deal!
3 nights ago my car was stolen and totaled! Well I have a GM supercharger on it currently. That car is a 2000 Automatic. I am about to buy a 2002 5 speed. I know that pace performance offers 2 different kits, one for the 5 speed and one for the automatic. And I also know that the reflash is different. But I wanted to know what was the difference in the actual hardware of the kit. I know they must be very similiar just by looking at the two. I hope just a difference in brackets and maybe a few vacuum lines. But if anybody has any information on what is actually different I would really appreciate it. Also if anybody knows somebody I could call to get this kind of info would be appreciated. I need to know ASAP before I make a purchase on a vehicle. PLEASE HELP!
Only difference between the two kits is the reflash...all the hardware is the same....

as for yours though, why are you selling it if u can just go and transplant it on your new car? and why are you selling yours USED for $2400 when you can buy it BRAND NEW for $2200? Used, i'd give you $1500.

actually, im FINALLY! in a good position to buy the supercharger (new, etc), but i was waiting upon two friends inside gm that could each get me a GREAT deal on it. unfortunately, they both have fallen apart, so i guess my only option left (besides finding a used one somewhere or something) is going to pace for $2200.

if it is exactly the same then why does Pace sell one kit for the automatic and another kit for the 5 speed?
When the GM S/C was first (finally) released, it was only for the manual trans.. auto version came out later and replaced the manual-only version.
I highly doubt you'd be able to find a manual only kit still... but the difference is only the page in the book and the part number... the old part number will automatically point to the new number and kit now anyway.

Yeah, there is now only one kit available and it's for auto or manual, N or J body.
Damn Ricky thats sucks man.... its Devon...... No matter what differences we have had dude that still sucks I feel ur pain.... Dude definitely good luck and I hope u do get the five-speed.... No Matter what Z-Unit for life... When one goes down we all go down..... Get up and running again so when i get boosted in june we can show these imports what is all about.....

well... mine is off the car and for sale for 1500........
in keeping my injectors though... thats it.....
by the way.. the car, runnning N\A is still faster than a 02 ls sport 5 spd.
