low or high impedance

Ok, I searched but couldn,t find what I needed. Does the 03 Ecotec have low or high impedance injectors? Please don't rag on me for this question, but what are anyones recomendations for injector upgrades. There is so much info it is confusing. I have the Garrett T3 turbo. I am going to eliminate my injector boss and the sds eic. I just need enough fuel flow. I plan to run 8-10 lbs of boost. I have upgraded the fuel pump to the Walbro 255lph. I plan to run the afc-2. I talked to Karo at Car Customs and he wasn't sure if 03 was low or high. Thanks in advance. By the way, Thanks to Karo! He spent quite a bit of time with me talking about my planned setup on the phone.

High.

This can easily be verified by unplugging one of the clips from the injectors, and measuring the impedance (ohms) through the injectors. 3-5 ohms are low, 12-16 are high. You have to unplug the clip from the injector to measure it though.

yep they are high.... and i suggest going with RC injectors.... and something over 310cc (29.5lb) if you want to make over 200hp at the wheels... and i see you want to make 8-10psi of boost ... i don't know some may disagree with me but 440cc injectors might be what you are looking for? might be a bit high though.

Thanks Freebs and all for the input. If I go with the 440cc injectors, will that be too much flow or can I control that with the afc-2. Also, you said that might be a bit high. Do you mean that I won't be able to slow the flow enough to not always be to rich? Or is the extra capacity there if I need it. If I go with the 310cc would I still be fine with those boost levels. Do you recommend going with a fuel rail upgrade as well? Thanks for you help.
And what are your thoughts onan AFPR?
Thanks man

you can control them with the SAFC II. if you get those 440s the car will run like uber @!#$ until they are tuned down. it'll be running richer than you can imagine so get another set of plugs for tuning and afterwards because... they are gonna get quiiiiite carboned up.

yea what Spotabee Racing said... you will need to do some tuning and defiantly will need a air fuel gauge... but think of it this way if you do go with 440cc it will more then likely be the last set of injectors you will need... as i think they max out over 300hp at the wheels. So yea it kind of depends on your plans for the car... if you plan on making around 250-260hp at the wheels i think even 370cc injectors will be fine... its all up to you though.
310cc injectors will be fine maybe to 7psi... very most 8psi but you would for sure need the fuel pressure regulator or you will be going lean because at 7-8psi your almost maxing the injectors out. but i wouldn't trust the 310cc ones past 8psi (max hp at the wheels on 310cc injectors is approx 210hp)... If you Call RC engineering they could probably tell you what size you need if you tell them what your goals for hp on the car will be and what set up your running
