Looks like you had to relocate the battery - how easy was that?

Yes it does have a relocation tray, i dont particularly like it though but to each his own.

However removing the old tray is a pain, you have to drill out the spot welds (each lil indented hole) to remove it, then theres a right angle brace under that which i removed with an air hammer.

I think im going to relocate my battery again to my trunk soon.

Looks Great!!! Love to see some numbers.

Hood clearance may be an issue, but can you clock the supercharger a hair towards the front of the car? This way you'll straighten out that crooked charge pipe.

Nice to see another boosted eco, enjoy!

Ok, well it put down like 176 at 5700RPMS and 4psi of boost. Obviously not full potential but we couldnt find the VSS to disconnect it and get a full run, however the power is still steadily climbing when he shut it down. Im thinking about 10-15whp on top of that since theres 2 psi left.

And i got track times!! First run was 15.5 with a 1.3 reaction time and 2.5 60 foot. EWW!!!

Second run was a 15.08 with a 1.13 R/T and a 2.33 60 ft.

3rd and final run for the day was a 14.7 with a .98 R/T and a 2.1 60 Foot.

Im still getting used to the track but i think in another couple runs i could easily hit 14.2 ish.

Its a start, and im still learning the track so next weekend im going to shoot for real low 14's high 13's.

Either way im happy, The dyno kinda let me down but i am positive that if i had gotten another run in 14.3 was coming but unfortunatly they closed before i could run again.

It was awesome though, i had Ripped a RSX type S a new one, tore up a old Mazda Mx-6 Turbo, and some guy in a 4 door white cavy 2.2 OHV who wouldnt talk to me.

Noone expected a Sunfire to do what it did. Mind you the track isnt good at all for traction too, i spun 1st, about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through second gear, and a little bit into 3rd. A guy with a cobra who ran a 13.8 at other tracks could barely crack a 14.00 at the track that day.

Im loving it though.

-Ben

Ill post scans of the 3 dyno sheets and 3 timeslips tomorrow when im not so tired.

All those numbers are a good start man - good to hear! Glad you are liking it!

It's too bad you only got it to 4psi, but it sounds like you should and will do better....

I think those are pretty good numbers Ben, find that other 2psi which should be good for another 15 to 20hp, add a header, lose the 17's at the track and you can really put up some great numbers.

What RPM were you launching at?

I can't wait to unload mine soon at the track, I just gotta work out a couple bumps but the Eco SC feels pretty good.

I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time and for those 15 seconds, I realize, I need boost.
