I put my bigger injectors in my car because I am putting the turbo in next week, I have a check engine light on because the engine is running too rich. Will it hurt anything to leave them in for the time being? They are 310 cc injectors if that helps. I am also wondering if the trubo will even out the mixture when I put it in. Thanks
So should my fuel system be ok till i get one, what do I do with it when I get it.
so you have a trubo installed in your ecotec. Did it work ok when you droped it in or did you have to modify some computer stuff.
03+ ecotecs need the adjustable FPR #74566 not the one listed above. I dont know about 02 ecotecs..those have different fuel rails on them. When i installed my turbo everything works out great...no CELight at all, Im still trying to figure out my fuel managment tho.
So will that fuel reg(the one for 2.4's) work on the 2200 fuel rail also?
Failure is not failure if you learn from it
Thanks a bunch guys, So no one really had any trouble with something to do with the map sensor? I was talking to some guy that has a turbo civic and he said he had to change map settings or something like that.
They must have came out with the ecotec half way through the season
no problems with my MAP sensor...people say sometimes when it reads boost it will flip the car out and wigg everything out CELight comes on and all that with certain engines, My 04 ecotec hits 5 PSI and i get nuthing like the sort.
