you should be fine if you up to about the 2.7 pulley which should see over 6psi from the stock 2.8 pulley which is around 4.5psi for the 2.6 pulley which is around 8psi your gonna need a new inline or intank bump to feed the required fuel but i beleave some people are running ok with out it but its just something i would do for safe messures and the shifting should be fine lol
there are a few posts about it.

but judging by having ur car in my garage back in decemeber..... , u shouldnt be messing with that pulley and do other bolt on mods( bigger t/b, full exhuast, motor mounts, the shift kit,) first.
I was just messing around with Steve. Please don't take any offense. If you have the reflash, there will be no problem running the 2.6" pulley from embree machine. You will need the smaller Gatorback belt though!
Bump old thread

Ok.. GM supercharger pulley... I'm going to have to change it but.... I don't know to which one yet... I'm not sure if I want to spend $250 on that fancy Qwikchange one.. any others?

Also... crank pulley. Is there a lightweight stock-sized replacement available anywhere? I've been running an Unorthodox Racing crank pulley for.. oh... four years now? And I love it... but I wouldn't want to use the underdrive with the supercharger, of course... lol

the quick change pulley is 150 bucks. But its a great deal considering all the pulleys after that are only 70 bucks, and you can change them in minutes.

john- there was a lightweight stock crank pulley around made by APEX. i had it(never installed it) but sold it.

RSm can make a stock crank pulley, but why not make one a little bigger i think much easyier to change a crank pulley over the s/c pulley i think.

that is what the jackson racing s/c guys do, i think they swap on a CRV crank pulley.

How often am I going to have to change the pulley??!?

Now... would that Pulley Boys installation tool ($10!) be a good idea? Or would it not work with the M45 on the GM S/C? (Hey, I'm new to boost!!)

I'll have a look around for the Apex crank pulley. Anyone wanna buy a slightly used UR pulley?

john, they made 7 apex crank pulleys. Your best bet is to get a hold of hanzenrider. He has one(never installed) and tell him I told him to sell it to you.He had some other offers on it, but was waiting to see if i wanted it, but i cant right now.

Bah, Hanzenrider has it effectively sold already. No dice.. thanks for the suggestion tho

Looks like I'll be sticking with a stock pulley for now... til I can find a lightweight stock sized (or oversized) one.
