GM SC + Cams + Nitrous

Egad.. I'm going full tilt here...

GM supercharger is on it's way... have the (soon to be) ported head to go on, 1mm oversize valves, not-so-secret cams, etc.. let's say I want to run nitrous too...

wet kit = bad.. something about fuel and the blades of the supercharger? ok... so..

dry kit? or direct port?

ZEX has a new direct port kit that can go as low as 50hp.. or I could go dry kit with 35hp shot... hmm.....?

i would just go with a dry kit, what do you plan to run for fuel management??

also with that ported head you wont see the full 4.5psi so dont be like wtf when that happends

btw the cams are sweet, changes the feel of the car in the upper Rpms

GM reflash for fuel management... I have a 2000 computer in my car now...

I guess I'll have to get a different pulley for the full boost, eh?

I dunno if I should go dry or direct port... hmm.... the prices are pretty close as it is. it's whether the motor is gonna like it or not!!!

actually you will loose some boost , but will make more power , due to the amount of air flow

and id run a 25 dry shot , so it acts as a intercooler for the s/c , and still be enough for the computer to make up for

They say that a wet kit will strip the teflon coating off the rotors overtime. I would recomend a direct port kit for sure, much more control over the system.

your right ... but its not loosing power... you just dont see as high of psi which is a good thing in a way.... means you can get more boost with out the s/c heating up as much.

Lenko,

I would do a direct port setup.

It's not the nitrous, but the fuel that strips the teflon off the blades, making the SC run hotter.. I like 100 shot dry idea too
