Any boosted j's use the apexi safc? I was thinking of getting this with a wideband o2 sensor and MSD dis for my supercharged cavy. What do you guys think/

I'm not running boost yet, but I have the SAFC-2 V2 and I really like it so far. I get an intermittant MAP code, but I'm sure that could easily be fixed. For the price you can't go wrong really, its probably the cheapest electronic fuel system piggyback out there.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
So dod you think it would be a good buy , i just want it to trim my air/fuel, and i dont have enough money for the e-manage and all its stuff lol.

i think its best to use if you have the gm reflash... reason being that the safcII cant read boost so you really cant tune with it alone, you could get a fmu and then tune the fmu's fuel curve with the safc but thats about it, its not as good as the emanage for adjusting for larger injectors and antistall
but if you want a simple set up with a fmu and a safc thats fine but you need both not one or the other if you want a good fuel curve, and the safc cant do it at all by it self
for an example alot of the gm charger guys with the reflash are running the safc on top of the reflash to add some more fuel ontop of what the ecu is already giving the engine this way they can use much smaller pullies and not have to worry about going lean
i dunno just my $.02
I have the RSM reflash, is that the same?

Nik,
The previous owner of your car made us put huge injectors in it. He insisted the car ran too lean. However, we were satified with the ratio in the first place. We tried to explain this to him, but...
The reflash is definately not the same. The boost curves for the different blowers are very different. The GM flash would run lean at high RPM with the Vortech unit.
So Craig, I am assuming that the Apexi unit would be insufficient, im trying to look at all the options, what about the FAST unit? Or is the Greddy really the best option?

Oh and I really dont want to go the whole summer with it running so rich, but yet i dont want to leave my car at RSM for a long time to get it tuned Craig, you know what i mean. I def, could spare it for a weekend or maybe a wekk but that would be it.
