I am looking to buy a frount mount intercooler for my 04 cave. I am just woundering what is a good size to use. And Is it possible to get a front mount that is to big that I would lose performance out of?

30x6x3 is a decent size for low to moderate boost setups, and yes, there is such a thing as too big of an intercooler.

This one is similar to the one I bought from the same guy

Mine is only 6" tall

But the Bar and Plate design of the one I posted is far superior to the Tube and Fin style that Johnny Race Car sells

Their flow is over 35% more efficient

Don't get me wrong, the JRC intercooler is very nice, but I paid a little extra to get a more efficient intercooler of the same size

The BoostCoolers guy has great work, and ships it super fast

yea what shifted said. i have the 6" johnny race car front mount. its a wonderful product and went on with no problems. a lot of J's are using these intercoolers.

yea i talked to him by email he said of right now they are permanently sold out. so it looks like i will go with the 30x5x2. 2.5 pipeing sould work fine with this intercooler right?
