hey sup i disconnected my EGR sim from the map a few days ago but i left the unit hooked up to the egr wires, thing is im still not getting a egr code and no matter how many times i test the system with my scan tool i cant get it to trip no matter what i do
i have no clue what the heck is up with it i was under the assumption that it had to be hooked up to the map in order to work correctly?
can anyone else check and see if this actually works for them???
btw its set to N/A
it might take awhile to set a code, since it thinks the EGR is there...... the only code would be a 'poor performance' code, since the map isnt seeing a change in manifold vaccume....

hmm i will have to hook mine back up and see and let u know.
from what i understand it can take around 90 miles before you get a check engine light, and like speedracer said it might take longer b/c its still hooked up but might not be sending proper signals and the computer will at some point through a code, hell i have a bad cat and reset my computer, it took about 200 miles for the SES light to come on again.
