i have a ecotec motor built all to hell. compression is 8.9:1. what would be a safe boost number i could run with no ignition retard upgrades. im thinking 10-12 max.

by my post, 10-12 psi, you'd think it would be intercooled. lol. im just wasnting to get my motor in for a while and play around until i get my bigger injectors and dis 2 on. running the hahn stage 2 for the 411.

secondly you could run a decent amount of boost, more then 10-12
the msd will retard timing based on the boost it sees if it is the boost sensitive ignition, over wise the cheaper box you can retard timing yourself up to like 8 degrees I think

i was running 10 with no problems, im not the only one who has done it, so 10 to be on the safe side, but im sure there is still a little room to turn it up

i ran 12PSI this past weekend with no issues except my damn fuel hiccup that i think i have solved now. i need MORE FUEL FOR MORE POWER!

well, im going to crank it up to 17-20 once i get my injectors and retard system, the only retard i have now is the driver. anyone know the difference between the dis and dis progamable. or should i go with crane. id like to have something to do the job right for the safety part but not spend too too much.
