After i installed my turbo on my 04 ecotec i put my filter for my turbo air inlet comeing up right where the stock computer is..so i had to move the computer to the other side to the shock tower (its originally on the pasengers shock tower) ....it was quite easy no biggy..but after that..im not saying that causing this problem..keep in mind i installed this turbo and did all this within a 3 week span....i dont even go above 2 PSI..if i do its by accident ..becuase of fuel management atm..however to get the point of this....my ABS light comes on every once in a while...and stays on untill i shut it down and restart..seems to be coming on more often in the past 3-4 days now ...maybe once out of 3 start ups now...
Anyone have a clue what could be cuasing this???
Do you work around cars at all?? Try to find someone who has a generic OBDII scan tool and they should be able to pull the code for you.

now the light comes on everytime i start it up....=( ill keep you guys posted when i go in thursday....
i had the same thing happen to me. After searching for the problem i found that one of the wires that runs to the ABS sensor of the drives side was frayed almost in have. So i just cut it off and resplice it back together. After that no ABS light. Also i tried to scan for this problem but a code never came up for it. Hope maybe that helps

did you loose any fluid? sounds dumb but it has happened before on this site.
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
nah..fluid was all good...maybe i frayed or screwed up a wire when moving my computer...i dont know how i would find it through out that mess under the hood =/
well the scanner said its my "Left hand side sensor is open/shorted" ..so either my sensor is bad or there is a fray some where in the line =( ah well...ill have to track it down now. First im gonna try the sensor and see if that works..then ill be able to narrow it down..
well keep us posted

I'm having the same problem too. Where is the sensor located???
The sensor itself is located on the inside steering nuckle near the C.V joint....follow the only wire loom connected off the lower control arm....
well i checked each sensor with a volt meter and they both put out the same number for ohms err or resitance? i think thats what it is (my bro told me what to do and i cant remeber what he said) anyways it narrowed down that it wasnt the sensor..so next i unplugged the harness from the abs unit in the engine compartment and tracked down the pin for the 2 wires leading to the sensor plug..checked the current ...one was fine and the other wasnt =( so it was a frayed somewhere down the wire loom ...so i thought!!
So i spliced a new wired in and ran throught the harnesses down to the sensor plug....cut the bad wire off the plug ready to splice and for sh!ts and giggles..tested the cut wire on the plug and it still didnt respond..wiggled the wire a-little and ...flop..the wire came right out of the plug!! =( well....
Yup the whole plug was bad now...so I went to the local junkyard and got one off a grand am and spliced it in and no more ABS light!!! woot....man that volt meter does wonders!!
A generic wont pick up the abs codes in most cases you need to get a tech 2 to do so.
