Boost Problem????
Sunday, March 27, 2005 11:31 PM
I just got my turbo on my car and I tried drving it a little. At first the car was missing bad so me and a friend hooked up the scan tool to it and it showed up as 2 codes, 1 was P0300 random cylinder missfire, and the other on was P0748 Pressure Control solenoid electrical. i changed the plug wires and it hasn't miss fired yet, and the pressure control solenoid I believe was the connection for my B&M shiftplus. I dont' have the 2nd o2 hooked up.

I tried driving it and i got on it a little and it seems like it's hesitating and doesn't want to go. I give it full throttle and it seems like there is no power, also feelslike it wants to go. I'm stuck on ideas on what to do. also I dont' have. Could this be from the 2nd o2???
Also driving it till it warms up it seems to backfire quite a bit when i'm over 2000rpms. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. Thanks

what kind of fuel mods do you have? Sounds like every post where people have not setup the FPR correctly, or have the factory fuel pump.

HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED

the second o2 sensor is only for emissions... will not effect the way your car runs at all.

How much psi are you running? A backfire could mean your plugs arent burning the fuel, or your flooding it which I doubt or pre-detonation. Before something gets seriously damaged I would buy a wideband 02 or take it to a dyno shop to find out whats goin on inside your engine. What kind of plugs are in the car?

It's turned down to 5psi. I have NGK TR6 plugs. Could the P0300 cause it to hesitate lots???? I'm going to put a wideband onto it once I get the exhaust done.
