I dont understand why people that have turbos dont just cut of the flange on this and just weld a new one on. If it does not fix up just right, just bend the pipes so they do. WHY NOT?

i know its kind of a weird idea and it might not work but i was just thinking. I would buy or have a custom one made but a turbo header cost 500 from cav connections and 700 from a local shop. Thats why i see spending 300 for that would be much better.

because the port holes won't match up and you'll spend as much time and money modifying that one as you would just making a new one.

well i guess i just thought that you could clamp it down and bend it... i thought i could use my plasma cutter to take the flange off and bend the pipe so it would fit up to it... oh well... i hate how they cost so much for the ecotec

The welds would snap if you tried to bend it.
