Ok guys heres my story. My cars currently rocking a t3/t4e turbo, an exploited manifold that needs to be welded again, some 370cc injectors, a 4:1 fmu, and a 6 pound wastegate. I'm thinking I might be one of the only kids who wants to go a little smaller on the turbo sizing. What do you guys think? I'm taking it all apart again to fix the maniold anyway, you think a super 60 or something at least a little smaller would be in order?

why did you go with a 4:1 FMU?

I see you're selling the 8:1

was that too high of a ratio or something?

why would you want to go smaller? for a faster spool maybe, but will result in less CFM

the smaller turbo would spool faster but if you use the super 60 the larger trim wheel will also flow more than a normal one. but you're still losing a little bit with the smaller a/r compressor. and by the way, how's the car run with the 370cc injectors and the 4:1 fmu?

Nate: it really depend what you want. If you're running low boost, I'd bet the ballpark you'll see better performance out of a smaller turbo. Maybe not worth buying a whole new turbo though. Thats something you should decide. Bigger is not always better.
