hello everyone,
like it says i need help deciding on a turbo for my 2200 turbo setup. i have it narrowed down to these three:
http://www.turbostore.com/garrett601t3.html with either the .48 or the .63 turbine housing.
http://www.turbostore.com/spect3t04e60.html with the .63 turbine housing.
http://www.turbostore.com/specgart3t04.html with either the .48 or the .63 turbine housing.
If you guys could help me decide it would be wonderful. I'm looking for somewhere around 250-300hp. Also i would like to run a 3 inch exhaust and i cant find a turbo with a 3" exhaust outlet without it being massive. Would i just use couplings to take the 2" exhaust port to a 3" or is it better to just keep the same size throughout?
hey man
300 hp is prolly not going to happen unless your going to spend some major coin on the tranny.. most tranny's can only hold up to 250.. with that being said i would go with the t3/t4 hybrid (last link).. that will get you to 250 with most efficency, least spool up time, and least psi
.. good luck

I was wondering, if someone had the tranny built and engine, which turbo would be good for 300 hp?
im getting the tranny built and the motor built right now. thats why i am looking for 300hp
well... i would go with a t3.4 then
