Has anyone done their own turbo installation? A turbo for the ecotec requires a hole to be drilled in the oil pan for the return line. This is what the guy at cavalierconnection.com told me. He said that it only has to be done to the ecotecs, but not the 2.4. Anyone know anything about this. If the pan has to have a hold drilled in it, can the eco pan be removed without removing the motor or loosening it from it's mounts? Please reply only if you have done this job. Thanks.
That is a bunch of crap, you need to drill the 2.4L in the pan or wherever you can find the return.
And I just did the Eco in the main girddle today and I used 3/8-18 NPT tap and you NEED A 9/16 DRILL BIT other wise it will not work. lol
I found out the hard way.
Wrapped my 3 inch DP in some heat wrap.
I should be done tomorrow, I am gonna make my passanger side piping and run vacuum and that is it.
I also wanna tray and see if I can use my 260's in the Eco from my 2.4L
