I need to know what impedence my injectors are on my 97 2.4- high or low...

I believe the general rule for Cavaliers is newer skinny ones are high and older fatter ones are low




'99 2200 LS CX1 Sport

97 is low, they changed in 99 to high.

mid to late '99 cause mine are low and so are Adler's

It seems that a lot of the 2200 injectors are low in 99, and most of the 2.4 injectors are high in 99.

Okay.. some slight confusion..

I stripped back the 2 wires on one of my injectors and used my multimeter to test the resistance...

They were jumping in between 15 and 19... Now, the injector guy says that high impedence, when everyone else is saying they are low..

I trust the JBO more then my multimeter... so, are we absolutely certain they are low impedence even though it measured high???

You can't measure it with the wires on it, you have to do it through the injector only, since otherwise you are measuring the resistance of the ENTIRE system. Which since the injectors are 3-6 OHMS x 4, that would come out about right for low impedance.
