the exterior ribs on the supercharger. any idea what purpose they serve? looks? reinforcement? heat displacement? or any idea where i could find the information?

I would imagine it fr cooling as well as re enforcing the case of the charger...not something id risk shaving off.

i was thinking the same but i was thinking of going a different route with it. the two smooth round cylinders i think would look so nice.

i just polished mine a little...i also agree with not removing any surface material of the blowers..they get very hot and cooling/heating cycle can crack if you thin out the walls.
ill paint mine, but it'll be a neat mix of polish and arrival blue...theres a mixed opinion on even painting because of trapping in heat..but im not a huge believer of that so much

im not done with it, but this was just to kill time while i was getting ready to install it...
