I have a 2001 2.4 with the GM SC on it and i was thinking about changing the pulley. I bought it used so im not totally sure which pulley i have but i measured it at 2 3/4 so i was thinking maybe the 2.7? i keep having issue with to much boost and not enough fuel so i was going to try a larger pulley for now. If i went to the 2.8 it does not seem like it would change much at all really.... just looking for some help on this one. I have the GM flash tune.
I also know the charger was ported and polished. I range from 10-11 psi of boost right now. No meth injection or anything else, which i bet would help but im looking to sell the car and dont want it to blow up on someone else.
What pulley do you have on it right now? I am running the 2.7 pulley with cobalt lsj injectors with the fuel rail notched. Have not had any lean issues. PM me if you want help since we are near each other.

With no wideband, how can you tell that its running lean?
Just what I was told when I had the car looked at. I think im running to much boost creating a lot of heat.
Im sorry some things just dont makw sense to me. There is no way you would be seeing that much psi with a ported blower and 2.7 pulley. And how do you know you are getting too much boost? What are the symptoms? Are you sure this thing was reflashed and that you have a 2bar map?
Depending on the exhaust setup 10-11 psi is not out of range.
I have seen a little over 12 unported, and just over 11 ported.

yes i do have the 2bar map and i took it to get the flash done at a dealer. Car does pass emissions as well. Being that i did not do it myself it is hard to say what they actually did or if it was done right. I keep having issues with rings/bearings. Maybe all i need is a little tuning but im not sure. When im peaking RPM's in 3rd gear with full boost the check engine light ofter will start flashing at me...
Motor is a Mild Sport build by mantapart, .020 bore, claiming 10.5:1 compression but never had it tested to verify.
flashing check engine light while in boost is misfires. Plug gapp probably needs changed. What plugs are you running?
With that build it needs a custome tune for sure.

No, A stock crank pulley and only a 2.7 charger pulley will not make that much boost PSI, sorry.
My 2.6 only netted 7lbs....Peak!
The over drive crank AND 2.6 hit 8-10.....
So I would guess bad boost guage.
Anyway miss fires... Best thing to do by far is the 2200 coil swap mod.

Sorry but I have seen stock M45's with stock crank pulley's make 7psi.
It seems with M45's and even M62's the boost levels can vary alot. no big deal.
