DD intake manifold?
Thursday, October 06, 2011 4:07 AM
im looking at getting a long runner sheet metal intake manifold and was wondering if it would still be just as good to daily drive on. im pushing around 22psi and getting 31-32mpg everytime i fill up and i dont want to hurt the mileage or the driveability of the car, would the manifold do anything like that?

running rich? turn the boost up

Here you go:

http://www.turbotechracing.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=5340&idcategory=

Many have them on their daily driver, if not every customer we have that purchases these....

You will see better air flow with this manifold = more power. Crusing speeds should not affect MPG with this unit

Paul is selling his REALLY nice D plenum one like I have. Its for sale in his mid east thread. thing shines like its chrome.

I didnt notice any loss of low end... especially being turbo. I like my D plenum one as well since all the fittings are hidden on the bottom and it looks a lot cleaner than putting them anywhere else. I never noticed any losses with mine. But gained quite a bit as well as peace of mind knowing it wasnt plastic and going to shatter from pressure.
