nothing is cheap for the 2200. My 2200 motor i built I think I had 1500 in the turbo set up befor i sold it.

Swapped to a eco and the saab set up was pretty cheap though depending on where you live.

I bought a used kit on here for 1350. I can't even imagine how much he spent peicing it together. I think the cheapest option would be an eco swap with the saab set up. There aren't any cheap option with this platform though. Maybe you can get lucky and scoop up something on here.

To do a 2200 build RIGHT it is not cheap at all. Sure you COULD buy a used turbo, an ebay log manifold and intercooler piping kit but, take my word it ain't worth it.

Plain and simple I have went both routes and my build has cost me close to $15,000. It doesn't help that I was ripped off by some shady shops in the process but that is besides the point. At first I purchased a used TD04 turbo off of ebay along with a log style T3 manifold, universal intercooler (big as sh!t) and a universal do-it-yourself piping kit, along with a knock off Tial WG/Greddy BOV. The thought was hey I can make it all work.... I was dead wrong.

So today I am on my 3rd turbo, my 3rd turbo shop, my 2nd manifold, 4th blow off valve, 3rd waste gate, 2nd set of intercooler piping and so much money down the drain I could have built a duplicate car at the same time just by doing it right the first time around.

Cody,

My suggestion is this, If you want to get a little extra power out of the car but not go nuts hit up Hahn Turbo's and buy a complete kit. If you want to make serious power its going to cost serious coin no matter what motor you go with.
