ecotec elbow for throttle body

ok so i was wondering if anyone sells an elbow for the throttle body ? ive tried 2 different silicone 90's and they either hit the hood or the metal bracket....and it sometimes wont let the throttle release the whole way... inken used to make one for thier intake kits that was flat on top but i contacted them and its no longer made so thats out... i just cant get anything to clear both... im using 2.5" intercooler piping and the throttle body is a wierd size to find a reducer....

Call AEM. They will sell just the plastic elbow that comes in their CAI & WAI kits. I think it's like $45.

Thank you so much for posting this! I just scooped my girlfriend a 2009 Cobalt LT with 5,000 miles on it and have been wanting to do some up grades.

instead of trying to find a part that's going to cost you an arm and a leg why don't u just break out the angle grinder and go to town on the throttle cable bracket? that's what i had to do to get mine to clear the hood.

that's why they call it "modification". go on now, run along, don't be scared.

its not the throttle brcket... ok when i slose my hood the elbow keeps the throttle from closing so it idle at like 2 grand... so i adjusted to hood stops up and it stopped... but it looks like @!#$

So cut the throttle body bracket and pit your hood back. Easy fix. Or get the stock saab rubber elbow and cut to fit.

Last I heard there still around. Not owned by gm. If you have a saab dealer around call them the part number is 12785081.

junkyard saab set up its like the easiest thing to pull for the saab set up!!! also they are very nicely built so my elbow was in nice shape! a 90 won't clear the hood or the bracket I tried that a long time ago!!!!! i might be able to get you one for a few buck shipped if you still need it.

The elbow off of the K&N typhoon intake is what I'm using. Works excellent.
