Just wondering if this would work.
I have a log manifold with external wg. The turbo is on the side and wg on the top.I was thinking about just running my dump tube over and Dow into the top of the downpipe. Like right at the 90* bend after the turbo. This way it would be a short dump tube and a straight shot down the downpipe. Now would this be causing any issues with turbulence or my o2 sensors? Or would it just be a better idea to go down further on the exhaust?
That is a pretty standard way of doing it, no problems.
Dont put the wastegate dump right in front of the 02 sensor, iv heard it can mess with readings. Something you may know or may not is you should angle the w/g dump into the exhaust. Meaning angle it with the dircetion of flow into the exhaust. Dont just T it into your downpipe

Usually the O2 sensor should be about 18 inches or more from the head, so he should fine in that regard. And yes, you should try to keep you bends as smooth as possible. Always merge two pipes with as large as a radius as you can get by with. Just think logically when you are building your setup, lol.
