This question is for the eco saab turbo guys.
I swapped a ecotec and added a saab turbo set up and seems like the temp needle is higher now that its a eco than before when i had a 95 2.2
is this because the eco runs a few degrees hotter?
or because the coolant is going through the turbo?
anyone with the eco saab setup please let me know what temp your car idles at please
also using yellow coolant, will not having dexcool in there make a difference??
thanks guys

at idle its going to go up until the thermostat opens... mine while running stays at 195
All Jbody factory motors run at 195.At idle a car will run warmer because no air coming across it to keep it down. Once temp is over 180 the thermostat is already open.
I have never run a turbo off water for cooling but I could see it making a small difference in temp, just not sure if that is true.

Ended up being a small air pocket in the feed line to the turbo/heater core.
