ok so i got a 1996 z24 running a turbonics t3 turbo with 57mm trim, a 38mm wastegate set to 8psi. front mount intercooler, a/c has been removed. im running it on 8lbs. of boost. 2.5 inch exhaust almost all the way back, connecting to the sunfire gt duel exhaust at 2" inches. cars sitting on full tokico suspension, tein lowering springs, yoko avid tires on stock rims. inside i got a 3 pillar gauge pod with a boost gauge, air/fuel gauge, and a volt gauge, and under i got a oil pressure gauge. nothing done to the body, got some rust holes, i dont care, beautiful underbody , shells just got some rust. she still shines.

im just posting this to see if anyone needed any help or questions on how or what i did. it was a bitch i can tell you that.

If somebody has a question, they will post a topic asking said question. This makes it easier for people to help and it makes it easier to search for when somebody in the future has the same problem. It's cool that you want to help others, but voice your thoughts in their threads, not in some generic one of your own.

oh, and you don't have a "57mm trim" turbocharger. Either you have a 57mm inducer, or you have a 57 trim. Trim is a measure of the percentage of the inducer area to exducer area, not the size of the wheel.

I have no signiture

then create a thread with a title aimed at trouble shooting problems

it is very unlikely for a noob to search, let alone come across a thread with a name like "96 z24 turbo" and expect to find trouble shooting answers.

Why don't you start a thread labeled " Turbo kit installation FAQs" or something along those lines and write about the problems you encountered. You're title is more likely to attract people looking at build threads and not people trying to diagnose problems.

Do you have any questions for your build or have you covered all the bases? What kind of hp/tq are you making? Have any 1/4 mile times? And I'm not being a dick, I'm actually serious. I have a turbo build and feel I have covered almost all the bases and may be able to offer some insight as well.

Are you running a manifold or header? And where did you get it?

its kinda funny, i ordered one from ebay but the flane was welded on backwards, so i took itto a welder and ha itcut and rewelded. it cost about 240$ total but itsstainless steel

this is the link. to run this manifold you need to move or deplete your a/c. i removed the ac, and since the turbo sits behind the block, i heat wrapped the charge pipe and exhaust manifold, took away almost all the turbo lag, still like a slight seond ittakes but im guessing its my hose length to my boost controller.
