ok well lets start off on what im running t3t04e on 32lb injectors 11psi and stock pump tuned on hptuners i know 32lb are only good for about 240hp so they are deffinatly maxed out above 5900 rpm, my next step is ford saleen blue giants 42lb on 15psi will this be safe on stock pump? i have heard a 05 and up mustang gt pump are good for 400 whp is this true as well? and does anyone have experience with the ford pump is it a fairly well easy swap ?

any input is greatly appreciated

Racetronixs upgraded LS1 fuel pump is a 99% drop in replacement.

Doing it right > free.

I have never hear of someone using a mustang fuel pump in a J-body.

Isn't the wiring harness not necessary for the fuel pump?

2 things needed to safely boost, fuel and air so im going to do everything i can to not compromise either. the harness guarantees no voltage drop for the pump. im spending the extra $50 for the harness. plus it makes it 100% plug and play and taps directly to the alternator.

Ok, makes sense. I was contemplating whether or not the harness was necessary, but I guess i'll go the same route as you. No mistakes guarenteed.

it is so easy too. comes with the connectors on it and again the extra voltage in this area is in my opinion better than not having it. ill spend the $50 insurance on the kit vs not having it and hoping the pump can handle it.

like i said, will be ordering tomorrow

to the OP, you are going to need either a booster pump, or to upgrade the intank pump. Truly you probably need it now. YOur 32lb injectors are probably maxed out now I'm sure.

$50 for the harness? Seriously? Grab a generic relay and some 10ga wire; same result at a quarter the cost.

i was wrong $60 for the harness kit.

and ill stick with the proven ready to plug and go harness rather than try to make my own. this i pull it out of the bag, plug 2 plugs in, and its wired to the pump, no cut here, strip here, put connector on this end, and wire the relay in somehow, and then wire it to the stock pump connectors.... its simple its easy and painless and proven to work.

psh you ever see a air/fuel/spark meter lol...

my saying was if you dont have fuel, boom, if you dont have air, flood. so they are the 2 things that i make damn sure i have.

I know the stock pump on my friends car can not supply enough fuel for 12-14psi. He has ordered Racetronix

mine held for 13 no problem, so im sure its different car to car, do you happen to know if he went with the harness or not?

Im at 10psi on the stock pump and have no problems, but with the anticipated HP increased i am swapping to a Racetronix in a few months.

from what i heard 10psi was a pretty good idea on how far to take the stock pump. but again different cfm's with different cars. i ran mine for a LONG time on 10. then a few months of 13 and it held. so im sure cars are different. and racetronix with harness is the way to go!

Yes the racetronix pump harness works great. Like vincent said 100% plug and play..I used the harness because the stock wiring couldn't feed my walbro 255 pump after 350whp...

Yes he did. Waiting on it to come in. Also the relay they send you is a silver contact relay, but a cheap one you get at the parts store.

Yes I have the harness on order .. I was going to do a harness myself however after reading how the harness is made that they have I will just use the one from them .. I like the Tyco 40A waterproof silver-contact relay and the Weatherproof Delphi connectors and most of all it's Plug & Play (no soldering or crimping required)

agreed, just wish everyone else would realize the harness is worth it.
