Help finding a kit
Monday, November 09, 2009 6:18 PM
I have been looking and searching sites for the past month and found one site which is ebay that i can buy a turbo kit but the turbo manifold doesn't come with it. Plus i had alot of people tell me that they are junk. Id rather buy a whole kit instead of building one. I was looking for a T3/T4 turbo kit. So if someone could give me some websites on were i can buy a whole turbo kit that would be sweet. I Have a 1998 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L The motor is getting built right now.

importperformanceparts.net
they have a turbo specialties turbo kit.

horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

don't get the eBay kit......i have been ripped off on eBay more times than I can count....only buy stuff on eBay that you know the name brand or otherwise it is complete junk....the only thing worthwhile is the strut bars they sell because they are good enough...as well as exhausts maybe...but anything performance wise like a turbo or shifter, etc...dont get it.

eBay is a scam.

You also get good Customer Service with these fellas. One day when I'm not lazy I need to call you guys and find out why I can't get my fuel pressure above 65 PSI

Because your car is trying to tell you to dump that tuning set-up and let me tune with HPT.

I want to take you up on that, but I'm scared to drive up there.

Haha, I should have known. My bad!

Sure, we can get you going...with that setup, fuel pressure capability is high, over 100 PSI (not that we'd run this one at that high a pressure)! Should be simple, as the beauty of this fuel system approach is its simplicity and ease of use...easy to understand and tweak for the average Joe!

Let me know when you want to look into it, and together we'll find out what's up. I'm sure it will be easy to troubleshoot and correct.
