my car runs fine without boost but as soon as i get into the throttle a little bit it stutters real bad and makes like no boost and stalls from all the fuel, my question is how small does a boost leak need to be to cause this? can even a small crack on the cold side turbine housing cause this? here is a picture note in this picture it is not chipped but it is about that size
Boost leaks only create driveability (rich bogging) problems on engines that use MAF sensors for fuel metering. Our cars use MAP sensors, so leaks are compensated for.

Yeah, you might want to stop giving bad advice and may want to do some more research yourself... I have been seeing a lot of wrong, yet humorous, advice on the forums lately...
To the OP, thats a cute lil guy! Before anybody can start think about helping you, you need to fill out your registry.....We know nothing about your supporting mods or tune. From what I can see in the pic, that should not be giving you any problems.

Care to explain your reasoning, or are you just going to crap on other people's posts without providing any useful information? Which part of my post is untrue or "humorous" to you?

The whole thing..... Unless he has the LD9 SC reflash, ALL of his fueling (exception of idle) is controlled by TPS, not the MAP sensor. Do I need to keep explaining, or are you starting to understand? Please let me know if I need to break it down more and "crap" on another post......

This is where you got it wrong. In stock form our ecus work off of Alpha-N so they don't use MAP to read boost (unless of course they are reflashed to speed density).
Well we don't know what software, hardware or even engine he's running. TPS fueling works fine with N/A or supercharged cars. Not really a good idea for turbo cars.

ok its a home made turbo kit running hptuners it is only on 9 lbs , just installed a new turbo was boosting fine for a day then this happend
I don't think it would cause such a huge leak.
Do you have a wideband, and are you sure it's flooding fuel and not starving?
Does it bog any time you floor it, or does it boost ok when you apply throttle gradually?
What AFRs were you at when it was running fine?
Are you using a fuel pressure riser of any kind (and is it still connected)?

any time i even gradually give it gas and it wants to start to go into boost it will bog and want to die, it was doing great when i got up to go to work it boosted good 1rst and second then i stoped at a stop light, started in first boosted hit second all of a sudden no boost and it stalled, took like 2 minutes to start back up it was that flooded. a/f reading on the wide band is normal while driving under no boost like 15.2 just cruising, also i am not using a fpr, this car has been running great for about 3 months now this all of a sudden happend.
Are you sure you don't have a much bigger leak somewhere? Is your BOV stuck open or disconnected? Did a charge pipe coupling pop off somewhere? How about an exhaust leak before the turbine? Is it possible the turbo shaft seized?
If you've got an air compressor, stop by home depot and get a rubber pipe cap the size if your turbo inlet, clamp it on, then run the air compressor through the wastegate connector on the compressor housing. This should let you find leaks very easily.
Since you are running an alpha-n system like the other guys pointed out, using an FPR would help smooth out your fueling under boost.
