So I was lookin around on ebay for some turbos and i came across this one.
Would this turbo work correctly? It looks like its set up so the wastegate is just vented to the atmosphere.
Thats a dsm turbo, it would work as long as your manifold is setup for a dsm flange. And yea talk about a wastegate dump lol

You need to read ALOT more before even THINKING about boost.
"hint" small dinky turbo
"hint" rattle can paint over everything. Kinda like trying to hide the cracks those turbos have and to hide that behond crappy welding job.
I could keep going but it's useless.

depending which turbo it is, but you can buy a good 16g from the dsm forums for ~300bucks...and they wont have a ugly ass weld on it, or be a open dump...and you can use the 02 housing from the dsm aswell, making the downpipe fabbing process even easier...
