Would i be able to use this turbo on a LD9 build?
Bottom end will have the oil swap and Fully built bottom end
My top end is Built with 1mm Stainless Valves, Bronze Valve guides, P&P head, HO Springs and retainers
HO Cams and Lifters
I would like to shoot for 350-400 WHP
I can get one of these
HX40w for nothing at all if i want it
But can i use it?
Also have in my possession a
Borg Warner
Not sure of the model but these are the numbers on the blue tag
B1G
9D08-2004
04299152KZ
I don't know if i can use either of these turbos but the little Borg Warner turbo seems like something i could use
I also don't have exhaust housings for either turbo
What are your feelings on these Turbos? Both are brand new units just missing the Exhaust Housings
Hoping for some quick feedback before i buy another unit if i can use one of these
Thanks

Question is can i use either of these and make the power i want?
Would the HX40W be to large?
Anyone know anymore info on the Borg Warner i posted?
Alot of DSM guys are using Holsets with good results. Turbo cams to help spool and you have extra displacement to also assist in spool.
I'd give the Holset a go.
I have HO cams in the car already
Im interested in running the Holset cause i can get it for free minus the Exhaust housing
Id love to know if i can run this Holset HX40w for sure or not
Anyone at all have any experience with these on the LD9?
Cause if i can save buying a turbo that would be great but if it is to big then i will move on
It compares to a GT3076R.

Going to get your pictures
Ive been busy like i emailed you about
Bullseye turbos (aka worked over BW), has the S256/258 with "extended tip technology". They are supposedly more efficient and faster spooling then the everyday journal bearing turbo without the cost of a ball bearing turbo. They are effecient to p/r of 3+. They flow similarly to the GT3076.
IMO if you want a turbo that will grow with you, consider these.
Yeah Bullseyes are awesome.

HX40 is a bit large. I would definitely use a divided turbine inlet to help spool it.
Also if anyone is interested in either of these Turbos i would let them go for $100 USD plus shipping
For a budget turbo, it's hard to beat a holset.
